The day had finally come! Brent and Christine were well and truly ready to become husband and wife after being together for 7 wonderful years! Both being teachers, it was a lovely way to kick off the holidays… and their lives together as husband and wife! They had both really enjoyed the planning of this special day and had been organised throughout. This made for a very chilled and smooth day – everything just fell beautifully in place and this wonderful couple could really enjoy the day as it unfolded.
Even though they had a river separating them as they prepared for the day, it was very obvious that they couldn’t stop thinking about each other. A little text in the morning to one another and the preparations began. Brent got a little nervous towards the time when they had to leave for the ceremony. I’m not sure if it was just butterflies or the fact that his mum (Deb) kept asking him if he was ok 🙂 What would we do without our mummies!! It was a family affair with Brent’s two brothers, father and mother getting ready with him.
Over at the girls unit at Novotel Twin Waters, it was also very family oriented! Christine’s mother and father and sister joined her. It was a really chilled out vibe with hair done by Calleja Artistry and makeup by Colorpop Cosmetics. Always prepared and organised, Christine was ready before she was due to leave which made the whole lead up to the ceremony smooth and calm. It was a really lovely atmosphere.
As the boys waited patiently at the Novotel Twin Waters Golf Club, Brent’s mum received a quick lesson on pinning a boutonniere by the ever-lovely and all-around amazing celebrant; Suzanne Riley.
Christine arrived in style in the blue Old Skool Kombi with her bridesmaids and parents. Late of course :). The Adiamus String Quartet played as both her parents walked her down the aisle to her soon-to-be hubby, who was looking a little emotional as he watched his bride approach. The wedding was styled by Cloud Nine Weddings and as you can see below, it was beautiful!
Suzanne took a beautiful and very engaging ceremony as she always seems to do and Brent and Christine became man and wife. It was so sweet and a very personal ceremony. Christine’s brother David from David Pierson Films filmed the ceremony for his big sister.
After some hugs and kisses from some excited friends and family, the lovely Rebecca from Twin Waters Weddings led us away to have some bridal portraits taken on the golf club grounds.
As usual, Kirk and I were scanning the golf course for spectacular light and boy did we find it! In fact, the whole combination of beautiful and lovely people, amazing backdrops and a super-cruisy bride and groom made for a lot of fun and heaps laughs. What a great bunch of people!
The reception took place at the Twin Waters Golf Club with touching speeches by family and friends, Brent’s mother as MC and the party side of the evening run by Network Disc-Jockeys. During the ceremony, there was a quick pause (literally) for a mannequin challenge which you can see here – such a cool idea!
We had an absolute ball! Let’s do it again Brent and Christine!
Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
