What a huge day full of getting stuff done! I can’t believe how the house and garden are coming along.
In between shooting weddings and getting ready for our little man, we’ve been busily working on a few projects on our new mini farm. Below are a few pics of what’s happened today.
(Above) I made this tomato plant trellis in anticipation for the weighty tomatoes which are on their way.
(Above) A lovely Lellow silver beet.

(Above) LOTS of strawberries!! Treens and I go through these like green traffic lights!
(Above) Capsicum. Maybe it should be capsicYum!?!? Ok… maybe not 🙁
(Above) Cows and carrots.
We love it here 🙂
My special little girls in their little house (that used to be a dunny :o/ but don’t tell them).
You can see the little brown bantam beauty. She looks bigger than the rest only because she’s closer to my wide-angle lens, but she’s actually about half the size of the others. She gets bullied by them all the time so I have to protect her by carrying her with me where ever I go, feeding her separately and giving her little kisses and cuddles and whispering sweet nothings into her little cute ears. The end.
And here we are! Treeny’s dad built our spectacular house and he still comes around to do bits and pieces. He loves it and we love it too! Today he put up this recycled wood feature wall for my coffee nook. It just needs a few shelves and a couple of coats of varnish but doesn’t it look absolutely brilliant as is!! Thanks Paulie, LOVE your work! The only thing this coffee area is missing is … well actually it’s got everything I need! See the stainless steel bin lid to the right- well that’s got a rubber bar under the lid and I discard the used coffee in there. It falls into a container that I take out and empty in the compost when it’s full. Love that! Oh, and see the sink? Yeh, it’s mine. Boom!
Big day today at the K & T farm!
