A Bit About Us

We are a husband and wife professional wedding photography team who live in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland. We’re so blessed to be able to work together in something that we love (photography), capturing something that we absolutely love (weddings)!
We are very well known for our vibrant, candid and editorial shooting style. Every wedding is unique to us and we love to capture the personality of each K&T couple in our photos. Our couples feeling relaxed in front of our lens is important to us, so we always give direction initially and then let you be yourselves as you laugh and have fun together.

Our couples find that there is a distinct advantage in having two lead photographers shoot their most important day. They love to have professional photos of the bride and the groom getting ready at their separate locations, having two vantage points throughout the ceremony, and one lead photographer take the bridal photo session while the other is shooting fun candids behind the scenes. We love working together!

Our goal for every wedding is to carefully document the story of the day. So while you’re having the time of your life on your beautiful day, you can relax, knowing that Kirk & Treens are capturing the special moments and the ones you may miss, for you to enjoy later. Mum’s quiet tear during the vows, grandad’s groovy dance moves, the way that your new husband looks at you or dad’s emotion while dancing with his little girl. Such special, brief moments that are professionally captured for you to treasure “as long as you both shall live”.
